John Pozadzides – Association President
John Pozadzides (“John P”) is the WPUA President.
John P. is the founder of HTMLHelp.com, and was an early contributor to the development of HTML and CSS (the code that makes the Web run). HTMLHelp.com was eventually recognized by the W3C with placement in the CSS Hall of Fame upon the 10 year anniversary, for those early contributions.
John is also the CEO of Woopra, host of the popular Wealth Nation podcast, former Chief Marketing Officer for Layered Tech, and former Vice President for SAVVIS Communications.
Speaking, Teaching, and More
In addition to his technical contributions, John frequently presents at, and also organizes, Web authoring conferences such as OpenCamp, WordCamp Dallas 2008, and WordCamp Dallas 2009. He is also likely the most prolific WordCamp videographer on the planet.
In the “real world”, John has volunteered with the local community of Frisco, TX by serving on the Citizen’s Bond committee in 2006, sitting on the Visual Arts Guild of Frisco’s Board of Directors, and acting as Secretary of the City of Frisco’s Public Art Board.
In all of his spare time he also happens to be a classically trained blade smith, welder, Direct Metal Artist, chef, and world traveler. Oh, and he runs his blog, OneMansBlog.com.
Wesley W. Williams – President Of Member Services
Wesley W. Williams is the Managing Partner of dotCOM Interactive, a Dallas based Internet Marketing and WordPress development company. Wesley is also the Publisher of the dotCOMReport.com, an on-line publication of what’s happening in the “dot com” world that impacts small business websites and other individuals looking to launch a dot com start-up.
Prior to dotCOM Interactive, Wesley launched a career social networking site in 1998 that was eventually acquired in 2004 and counted Yahoo HotJobs as one of his key partners.
When not creating a new Plugin, building a WordPress blog, or tweaking an affiliate marketing campaign, Wesley can be found coaching or cheering at a sporting event for one of his 3 children. He lives in Lewisville, Texas with his wife and children and their English Bulldog Barkley
